Description: Translucent Quartz Baker - This is a small, Bifurcated, Early Archaic type.  It was found by Robert L. Stathem near Comanche, Texas.  The Baker typology dates to Early Archaic time, from 7,500 to 6,000 BP.  This piece is from the collection of John & Robert Stathem of Shreveport, Louisiana.  Robert and his father John hunted artifacts in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.  Ex- Robert Stathem Collection, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
