Description: Darl Stemmed - The Darl Stemmed is an Early Archaic type dating from 8,000 to 5,000 BP.  This one was found by Robert L. Stathem in Bell County, Texas.  It has nice light serrations down both blade edges and really nice symmetry.  This piece is from the collection of John & Robert Stathem of Shreveport, Louisiana.  Robert and his father John hunted artifacts in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.  Ex- Robert Stathem Collection, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
