Description: Super Colorful Serrated Sorora Chert Thebes - This Beautiful Thebes hails from Kentucky. It is made from a beautifully patinated piece of Sonora Chert.  It is very nicely made with nice symmetry!  It is beveled from re-sharpenings and both blade edges are finely serrated from tip to ear!  The base is nicely shaped and well made.  It has an old collectors marking "WA 249".  A fine Thebes for any frame!  It comes with a Davis grading it a G9.  Ex- M. Description: Very NIce Colorful Indiana Thebes - Here is a Big Colorful Thebes from Northern Indiana.  It has very nice flaking and symmetry.  It has a well made base that is well ground.  It has a nice tip and is lightly serrated down both blade edges.  Ex- Lohse, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

Description: Beautiful Attica Chert Thebes -  This nice Thebes is made of what looks like Attica Chert (aka " Indiana Green Chert ) to me.  However, Jerry Dickey calls it Coshocton.  I has nice symmetry and form.  It was found in Delaware County, Ohio, in the Red Bank area near the Hoover Dam by Ed Jackson.   Ex- John Leonard, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

Description: Fantastic Knox Chert Thebes - Here is a FANTASTIC Translucent Corner Notch that Tom Davis typed as a Thebes.  It is made of a translucent piece of beautiful Knox Chert.  It has a great tip, Perfect Symmetry and form and  lots of color.  It was found in McCreary County, KY.  It has Very Nice Flaking and symmetry.  The hafting area is highly ground.  All the pieces from this collection were found in McCreary County, Kentucky either off Peel Dog Wood Road, in Forgotten Valley, Indian Creek, or Bear Wallow.  All of these are within 5 miles of the Cumberland River.  It comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G10.  Ex- Monty R. Description: Ohio Flint Ridge E-notch Thebes - This is a highly collectible type, E-Notch Thebes.  It is made of what I believe to be Flint Ridge Chert.  It was found in Ohio.  It has very nice symmetry, is serrated and has the well made "E" type notches.  Ex- Hayden Bybee Collection

Description: Huge Illinois Hornstone Thebes - Here is a HUGE Thebes made of Hornstone with a cream spot or two.  It was found near Mt Carmel in Wabash County, Illinois and collected by Tim Aldridge.  It is thin and has a slight torque (see photos).  This piece is a "hand full" of Thebes.  The wide blade edges are slightly serrated and have been re-sharpened resulting in a slight beveling.  This is a FINE, BIG, Thebes.  A centerpiece in any frame.  Ex- Tim Aldridge

Description: Beautiful Big Preble Co. Ohio Thebes G-8 - Here is a really beautiful big Thebes from Ohio.  It is made of a Tan to Dark Gray Flint with gray speckles.  Jewdy named it "Lightning" because of the stripe from tip to base!  A very nice broad, well flaked example that has lots of color.  Comes with a Tom Davis COA grading it a G-8 and dated Sept, 23, 2002.  Ex-Mumaw, Ex- Monty Pennington
